I approach therapy with a simple question:

"What do you want out of life, and what is holding you back from that?"

This question, and your answers, is where we begin the journey. I look forward to hearing from you.

Internal Family Systems

IFS can help you feel more centered, at peace, and at home inside of yourself. It can help reduce the battles you feel inside. It can help you reclaim parts of yourself that have been hidden away.

The Conflict Inside

You’re anxious that you’re going to make the wrong decision. You’re depleted from the constant back and forth inside. You’re exhausted from always trying to do it right, or feeling the never-ending pressure to do more. There’s a part of you that you hate but it won’t go away or cooperate. Sometimes you feel like your reactions are over-the-top, like a little-kid version of you took over and is throwing a tantrum.

If you’re feeling this way, you’re not crazy. And it doesn’t have to stay this way. You can have a sense of settled-ness and calm inside. You can feel like you’re not your own worst enemy. You can give yourself permission to take a break. You can feel worthy. You can like who you are. You can feel refreshed and at rest.

The Transformation

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is one modality that effectively targets these issues. IFS can help you feel more centered, at peace, and at home inside of yourself. It can help reduce the battles you feel inside. It can help you reclaim parts of you that have been hidden away. It can reduce the intense pressure you feel to manage your life or do things in a certain way. It can help you quiet the internal critic that won’t let you feel peace, and let go of shame and guilt that have been plaguing you.
