I approach therapy with a simple question:

"What do you want out of life, and what is holding you back from that?"

This question, and your answers, is where we begin the journey. I look forward to hearing from you.

Anti-oppressive work

You are doing anti-oppressive work. It's hard, and you need a space to decompress, reconnect to hope, and do the inner work to support your outer advocacy.

You are doing anti-oppressive work. It's hard, and you need a space to decompress, reconnect to hope, and do the inner work to support your outer advocacy.

The Hurt

You're doing anti-oppressive work in the world. You're deconstructing oppressive paradigms. You're doing community organizing and grassroots building. You're standing up against oppressive systems and making meaningful change. Whatever way this looks for you, I want you to know I see you. What you are doing is incredibly brave and necessary. And it's also exhausting. To stand up to hurtful systems (and words) day after day.

The Healing

I want you to have a place to settle, to rest, to find internal healing for the pain you're encountering. To let go of any internal burdens that are making the external ones harder to bear. To let go of legacy burdens and real-time trauma from racism, white supremacy, ableism, sizeism, Christian nationalism, patriarchy, sexism, and any other pain-riddled -isms.

“Caring for myself is not self-indulgence. It is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare,"

- Audre Lorde
